MILLAN’S DEFENDER WAS RULED OUT OF THE INJURY CLASH IN NAPOLI

A muscle issue that Milan defender Matteo Gabbia developed during practice will keep him out of the Rossoneri’s match against Napoli on Tuesday.

Following the cancellation of their Saturday match against Bologna due to severe weather warnings, Paulo Fonseca’s team trained on Sunday morning. According to Sky Sport, Gabbia strained his muscle during practice.

The centre-back had already missed his side’s 1-0 win over Udinese last weekend due to a physical issue and was on his way to recovery.

Gabbia will miss Milan against. Napoli because of a muscle issue.

Due to the postponement of the Rossoneri’s meeting at the Stadio Dall’Ara, Milan will also be missing Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders, who will serve their bans in the upcoming game. His injury adds to Milan’s list of absences against Napoli.

Gabbia picked up four Serie A appearances this season and scored a late winner in his side’s 2-1 win in the Derby della Madonnina.
