1. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus, known for his defensive focus, understands the challenge his team faces on a short week against Detroit’s high-scoring offense .
“We’re up against a strong team this week that’s well-balanced offensively. They run the ball effectively, excel in yards after catch, and have talented athletes making plays,” he said.
“They’re among the best in the league at that. Their completion percentage is high, QBR is strong, and they create challenges in both the run and pass game, as well as in situational football.”
2. Eberflus also highlighted the impressive performance of Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and Detroit’s defense this season, particularly in recent games.
“Their defense hasn’t allowed a touchdown in the last (10) quarters, so they’ve been playing at a very high level,” he noted.
“Even with injuries, they’ve continued to perform well and stay consistent. It’s going to be a big challenge for us.”
