Will Campbell Declares for 2025 NFL Draft

Campbell shared the news on Instagram Tuesday afternoon but didn’t confirm whether he plans to play in LSU’s upcoming bowl game.

“Words can’t fully express how much LSU, the Baton Rouge community, and the state of Louisiana have meant to me,” Campbell wrote. “Over the last three years, I’ve had the privilege of living my childhood dream as an LSU Tiger. I’m grateful to God for these incredible opportunities.”

A highly-touted recruit, Campbell arrived at LSU with sky-high expectations and managed to exceed them. Enrolling early as a freshman, he quickly became the Tigers’ starting left tackle and has been the cornerstone of their offensive line across 38 career games.

Campbell earned Freshman All-American honors in 2022 and was named first-team All-SEC in 2023. This season, he is expected to garner additional All-SEC and All-American accolades and is a finalist for the prestigious Lombardi Trophy, awarded to the nation’s top lineman.

Widely projected as a first-round pick in April’s draft, Campbell is considered the top offensive tackle in his class by Pro Football Focus. If selected in the first round, he would become LSU’s first offensive lineman to achieve that feat since Alan Faneca in 1998 and the first Tigers tackle since George Rice in 1966.
