What should I know about the Lions?

One of the top NFL teams is Detroit. With a 12-1 record, it is presently tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for the NFL’s best record and is favoured to win the Super Bowl out of the NFC. After defeating the Green Bay Packers 34-31 last Thursday, Detroit hasn’t lost since Week 2.

With running back Jahmyr Gibbs being fourth in the league in rush yards and yards per rush, and quarterback Jared Goff ranking tenth in the NFL in pass yards and sixth in touchdowns, the Lions are second in the league in terms of total offence. David Montgomery, a fellow back, leads the league in run touchdowns. Amon-Ra St. Brown is the league’s fourth-leading wide receiver with 11th-most receiving yards, second-most touchdowns, and fourth-most receptions. Jameson Williams, a receiver, leads the league in yards per reception.

Together with defensive lineman Za’Darius Smith, safety Kerby Joseph (who leads the league with seven interceptions), and defensive back Brian Branch, Detroit boasts a top-10 defence in the league.
