The Detroit Lions will play the Buffalo Bills in a high-profile match on Sunday, November 15. One Detroit Lions player is reacting to the nasty talk that is likely to circulate prior to a game like this one. The source of this nasty talk is a fan. A footballer seldom addresses a fan on social media, but this one couldn’t contain himself.

The cornerback for the Detroit Lions responds.

Amik Robertson, a cornerback with the Lions, learnt via social media on Thursday, December 13, that Khalil Shakir of the Bills will surpass him in height. The fan also declared that they would place a wager on Shakir surpassing his expected scores on each of the game’s statistics.

Robertson then joined the discussion. He responded succinctly but directly to the post, saying, “Goodluck. Many of the fans who replied to the post supported Robertson. One person wrote, “Tell em.” With some laughing emojis, another said, “He’s going to need more than luck,” before adding, “Seatbelt season.”

In run defence, Robertson is ranked No. 21 out of 204 cornerbacks by PFF, and while under pressure in coverage, he gives up a 91.9 passer rating.

Buffalo Bills Coaches Open Up About Detroit Lions Matchup

The Bills coaching staff is being cordial ahead of the Lions vs. Bills game. They have generally shown admiration for the Lions and what Detroit has created in their interviews with the media this week. How were they unable to? One of the NFL’s hottest teams, the Lions are 11-1. However, it’s good to watch an opponent approach this type of game with respect.

The Lions boast a fantastic running back tandem in David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, who are arguably the greatest in the NFL. Gibbs has two receiving touchdowns this season, and they have 24 total touchdowns.

According to Bills defensive coordinator Bobby Babich, it comes down to the fundamentals when discussing with the media how the team will attempt to restrict Montgomery and Gibbs.

He stated, “We simply need to return to our foundations, to our core principles and our roles within each defence,” according to Lions senior writer and specialist Tim Twentyman. This league is full of talented running backs. I am aware that many people believe that the two we are going to face are the best team in the league, and they will undoubtedly be difficult to defeat. “Our guys are up to the challenge, I believe they’re up to the challenge and they’re ready to respond,” he continued.

Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady responded that Lions head coach Dan Campbell was right and typically “dead on” when he noted that Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, was a more “patient” guy. For a year in New Orleans, Dan and I shared a room. “Dan is the best,” he continued. He has an amazing perspective on football. Josh made a number of plays on Sunday that not many people on the earth can make, isn’t that how you kind of picture him playing and comprehending?
