Wichita Pair Charged in Kansas Bank Robberies
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman face charges related to a series of bank robberies involving a firearm.
Court documents reveal that Zane Tilcock, 20, of Wichita, is charged with three counts of bank robbery, while Emily Wise, 18, also of Wichita, faces one count of bank robbery.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Tilcock allegedly brandished a firearm while robbing three banks in December. The robberies took place at INTRUST Bank on South Webb Road in Wichita on December 11, Emprise Bank on East Harry Street in Wichita on December 16, and Sunflower Bank on North Jefferson Street in Junction City on December 27.
Wise is accused of robbing Emprise Bank in Wichita on December 16.
The FBI, Wichita Police Department, Junction City Police Department, and Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office are leading the investigation, according to the Justice Department.
