Daniel Dickinson, a junior from Richland, Wash., was recently named a Third-Team Preseason All-American by D1 Baseball. He transferred to LSU from Utah Valley last summer. Over two seasons at UVU, he boasted a .369 career batting average, hit 27 home runs, drove in 95 RBIs, and posted a .457 on-base percentage.
BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU’s Daniel Dickinson is ranked No. 3 among the Top 50 Second Basemen in the country by D1Baseball.com.
A native of Richland, Wash., Dickinson was named a Third-Team Preseason All-American by D1 Baseball last week. He joined LSU last summer from Utah Valley. At UVU, he recorded a .369 career batting average, 27 homers, 95 RBIs, and a .457 on-base percentage.
In 2024, Dickinson earned First-Team All-WAC honors, hitting .363 (90-for-248) with 14 doubles, two triples, 18 home runs, 53 RBIs, and 32 stolen bases.
In December, Dickinson was ranked No. 31 among the Top College Prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft by D1Baseball. He also earned a spot at No. 34 on Perfect Game’s list of the nation’s Top 100 Juniors for the 2025 season.
LSU, which is ranked No. 2 by Baseball America and No. 3 by D1Baseball in preseason polls, begins its season at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, February 14, hosting Purdue Fort Wayne at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
