This victory marked the Lakers’ fourth consecutive win, improving their record to 35-21 and moving them into the fourth seed in the Western Conference, just 1.5 games behind the second-place Memphis Grizzlies.

James led the team with 33 points, 17 rebounds, and six assists, while Doncic added 21 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists. Reaves also made a significant impact with 23 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
In addition to the win, James, Doncic, and Reaves made history, becoming the first Lakers trio since 1988 to each record a 20/5/5 stat line in a game.
The Lakers set an early pace, leading by 16 points by the end of the first quarter. However, Minnesota fought back, cutting the lead to 11 at halftime. The Timberwolves increased the pressure in the fourth quarter, narrowing the gap to just three points.
