Stephen Curry’s fresh nickname is spot on.

The NBA has bestowed upon Stephen Curry a fitting title after he became the first and only player to make 4000 career three-pointers in his recent game against the Sacramento Kings. Before a packed audience at Chase Center, Steph Curry achieved the milestone of being the first player to reach 4000 career three-pointers. In recognition of this accomplishment, the league has bestowed upon him a bold nickname – Mr. 4K.

The Golden State Warriors’ point guard registered 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists in the matchup, where the Warriors triumphed with a 130-104 final score. Draymond Green led in scoring with 23 points, but the evening was all about Curry, who established a new record for the league. In December 2021, he exceeded Ray Allen’s 2,973 career three-pointers to become the leading scorer in the 3-pointer rankings. And now he stands in a category unique to himself.
