Duke’s Kon Knueppel Announces NIL Deal Ahead of NCAA Tournament.

The Duke Blue Devils are heading into the NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed after a stellar season in the ACC.

Duke recently triumphed over Louisville, UNC, and Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament, securing the conference championship.

The Blue Devils boast a 31-3 record this season, with a 19-1 mark in ACC play, finishing the year with the best record in the league. Their final two games in the ACC Tournament were played without Cooper Flagg, as the freshman star was sidelined due to an ankle injury.

With Flagg absent, freshman Kon Knueppel stepped up. In the ACC final against Louisville, Knueppel scored 18 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and provided three assists.

As Knueppel prepares for his first March Madness, he shared exciting NIL news on social media.

Knueppel has signed a partnership with Celsius, a fitness and performance-oriented energy drink.

“Tournament Ready,” Knueppel said.

So far this season, Knueppel has averaged 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. He and Flagg have been widely recognized as the top freshman duo in the nation throughout the season.

Following his ACC final performance against Louisville, Knueppel earned a spot on the First-Team All-ACC Tournament.

Knueppel and the Blue Devils will face the winner of the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers vs. American Eagles game in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
