Kelly Stafford Strongly Supports Husband’s Return to Rams

Before re-signing with the Rams last week, quarterback Matthew Stafford had to navigate some challenges. He sought what he felt was a fair deal from L.A. after leading an inexperienced, injury-plagued roster to the conference semifinals, but at 37, the Rams were hesitant to commit. The team even encouraged him to explore trade options.

There were rumors linking Stafford to the Raiders and Giants, but ultimately, he never wanted to leave L.A., the team he led to a Super Bowl title in 2022 after being traded from the Lions.

On the “New Heights” podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, Stafford reflected, “It was kind of a mutual process. I remember when I was traded from Detroit to L.A. … I spent so much time on Zillow looking at houses, wondering, ‘Where will I live? Where will my kids go to school?’

“In the end, I knew the Rams wanted me back, and I wanted to stay. We just had to work it out.”

Despite his age, Stafford threw for 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 16 games last season, ranking among the league’s top quarterbacks. The Rams would have struggled to replace him.

His wife Kelly, who co-hosts the popular podcast “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford & Hank,” fully supported his decision.

“Let’s go! [I’m so] excited. Thank goodness,” she said on the Give Them Lala podcast. “That was always what I wanted and what my husband wanted. We didn’t want to leave. He loves the Rams, so we’re just thrilled—one, to be here, and two, that it’s settled.”

Kelly Stafford wasn’t keen on the idea of moving to New York or Las Vegas either.

“The relief I felt was unbelievable,” she admitted via Us Magazine. “Waking up every morning to a new headline … some rumor, some source claiming my husband was being traded or staying—it was something different every single day.”

“We’re Still Here, Ozzy!” — Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen Break Down in Tears as They Bid Farewell to the Last Brother of Rock ‘n’ Roll No stage lights, no pyrotechnics — just a wooden guitar, a small altar in a church adorned with white flowers, and two men who had walked alongside Ozzy for over half a century. Bob Dylan gently began “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”, his voice trembling with grief. Bruce Springsteen, eyes reddened, quietly strummed beside him. They didn’t need to speak — every note, every breath was a silent cry of goodbye. As the song ended, Bruce placed a hand on the casket and whispered, “Rock never died, Ozzy — because you were its soul.” Then the two embraced, as if afraid to let go of the burning memories of a wild, immortal era. A farewell without words — but one that made the whole world weep……FULL VIDEO BELOW
A close family member revealed that during Ozzy Osbourne’s final weeks, Sharon Osbourne never once left the hospital. She refused to go home, turned away visitors, and stayed by his side night after night. Each evening, she slept on a small folding chair beside his hospital bed, her hand wrapped around his — sometimes not letting go until morning. “I knew I couldn’t save him, but I wanted him to see love in his last breath,” she quietly told a nurse, her voice trembling. It wasn’t regret, and it wasn’t hope — it was a silent, unwavering love that needed no spotlight, no applause. And for Ozzy, perhaps that was the first time in a long time he truly felt peace — not from music, but from the presence of the one woman who loved him, even when he had nothing left to give. But no one in that crowd of 40,000 was ready for what came next. As the final chords echoed through the night, Ozzy’s voice softened. The wild rock god became just a man—a husband, a lover, a soul saying goodbye. “This one’s not for me,” he whispered into the mic, his eyes misting over. “It’s for Sharon.” Then, in front of tens of thousands of fans, he reached for his wife’s hand and brought her onstage. Sharon Osbourne, the woman who stood by him through addiction, fame, sickness, and survival, tried to smile—but the tears came first. So did Ozzy’s. So did the crowd’s. Together, they stood under the lights, wrapped in each other’s arms, as Ozzy dedicated his final song—not to his career, not to his legacy, but to love. Real love. The kind that doesn’t fade when the curtain falls. Fans didn’t just witness the end of a concert—they witnessed the end of an era, sealed with a kiss and a whispered “thank you” from a man who spent his life screaming into stadiums, but chose to end it in soft, tearful silence.
