Swindon Town are facing increased defensive uncertainty after reports that experienced centre-back Ryan Tafazolli could be sidelined for several weeks with a toe injury.
According to a September 22 report, manager Ian Holloway indicated that Tafazolli had suffered a bone bruise and could potentially miss up to two months. The reported absence would leave Swindon with fewer experienced options at the back during an important period of the League Two campaign.
The concern comes as Swindon continue to manage a number of defensive absences, putting additional responsibility on the players available to Holloway.
