“He doesn’t do too much else” – Micah Richards makes controversial claim about Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah

Micah Richards made a rather controversial claim about Mohamed Salah.
Speaking on the BBC’s 10pm podcast of the day, Richards discussed the best front threes in Premier League history and argued that every great front three needs a clean sheet. An expert stated that Salah is a player with that form and claimed that he doesn’t do much except score goals and get behind.
Gary Lineker rightly pointed out that Salah also receives a lot of passes, but Richard stated that he found Salah’s passes often very simple and that he rarely dribbled past multiple players to create chances. Salah just scores goals
Richard gave his verdict on the £35 million Egyptians. “You all have to know your role, you have someone who scores goals, someone who connects everything and someone who has a lot of pace. If you look at Liverpool, Salah scores all the goals and he doesn’t really do much else,” Richards said. .” Does Salah do nothing but score goals? He has a lot of passes,” Lineker said.
“Yeah, but it’s rolling across the box, it’s not like he dribbles past three players and then I’d say that,” Richards concluded. Although Richards is a great expert and can provide wonderful analysis, we cannot question his views here. Salah is far from a one-dimensional player. He has everything.
He can score all kinds of goals, he is an incredible player and he can beat almost anyone. Let’s take 2021/22 for example. goals against Watford and Manchester City in 2016, Salah’s feet are as quick and technical as any other player, and it does his skills a huge disservice to say he is only a goalscorer.
