JUST IN: An excellent running back for the Cowboys returns to training camp despite their recent disagreement.

Cowboys Camp welcomes back Ezekiel Elliott!

California’s Oxnard (KLTV) – It’s an old proverb that says you can never return home. Zeke Elliot, though, was a player for the Patriots last season before joining the Dallas Cowboys again. He is in a new position after being selected fourth overall in the 2016 first round draft. Do you accept your new role as a veteran for the Cowboys and the younger guys? Without a doubt. Since I was a veteran two years ago, I wouldn’t even say it’s new. Thus, I fully accept it and will keep moving forward as a leader. Keep fostering these young men’s development.

“Zeke has always been an exceptionally intelligent football player; I’m guessing that everyone is aware of his talent and production. He’s been a real workhorse. Coach Mike McCarthy remarked, “It’s been cool to watch him dive into our offense’s subtleties and protection scheme for the most part of his career.”

Elliot, a three-time professional bowler and a two-time league top rusher, puts it all in perspective by telling us he wasn’t gone for very long. “I believe I’ll continue where I left off. I was only gone for roughly six months, so not that long.
