Liverpool are interested in signing Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade and could make a move for him in the January transfer window to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Fluminense’s president has told Liverpool to reconsider their interest in midfielder Andre Trindade ahead of the January transfer window.
The Reds pushed hard for midfielders in the summer transfer window and ended up with four. Alexis MacAllister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch arrived to boost Jürgen Klopp’s chances after a positional move in the middle of the park.
Liverpool knew they would lose Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner, but did not negotiate the departure of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho. He added: “To put it bluntly, we did not receive an offer for him, but questions about Andrea. We decided not to sell him because we believed that we would reach the final stage of the Libertadores. It was a decision [due to the criteria of the sport. ”
Fluminense wanted to keep Andre in the Copa Libertadores. The Tricolors have booked a place in the semi-finals and could be in the final on November 4.
After surviving the tournament, the club plans to redeem Andre. Despite his youth, Andre has already made 151 appearances for Fluminense and scored four goals and provided three assists.
