Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold was uninjured after a near-death car crash
Trent Alexander-Arnold reportedly avoided death by inches
Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold is “not injured” after a near-fatal car crash on Friday, according to reports.
An England international narrowly avoided death after a 40ft electricity pole was uprooted in 70km/h winds, The Sun reports.
They claim that although Alexander-Arnold was left “shaken” after the incident in the Cheshire wet field – he is unharmed.
Alexander-Arnold is believed to have had to hit the brakes on his £90,000 Range Rover and was thrown before colliding with another car.
“At 10.34am we received reports of a crash involving a black Range Rover and a BMW,” Cheshire Police said in a statement. “An electric pole fell onto the road causing an accident. No one was injured and everything was cleared by 1:05pm.
“We called the power company and turned off the power.”
Alexander-Arnold later attended Liverpool training after the clash ahead of Saturday’s Merseyside derby against Everton.
The 25-year-old right-back has made seven appearances for the Reds this season and provided one assist.
He has played 280 games in Liverpool so far, scored 16 goals and provided 73 assists.
