Manchester City are aiming for a fourth consecutive Premier League crown. However, they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa. Ollie Watkins strike lifted Villa to third in the table as they hope to break into the top four. City are bottom of the Champions League with 34 points – four behind Liverpool. Newcastle qualified for the Champions League last season ahead of the Reds, but they could do it again. Newcastle trail Klopp’s men by eight points. Tottenham is the only team to beat Liverpool in the Premier League this season. The 2-1 defeat at home to West Ham United was Tottenham’s fourth defeat in five league games. But more importantly, the Reds will be able to put more pressure on the chasing pack and take another step back into the Champions League.
