Fabio Carvalho prepare to returned to Liverpool but Jurgen Klopp blocked another loan move

Fabio Carvalho has struggled to get playing time at RB Leipzig since joining on loan from Liverpool. Liverpool and RB Leipzig are in talks to recall Fabio Carvalho in the January transfer window. The former Fulham youngster has started just one game for Liverpool in 2023 – an FA Cup tie against Wolves in January – and made just one appearance in 21 games for the Reds in the second half of last year 4 times. Carvalho, who turns 21 in August, moved to Leipzig on loan a year before last season but has struggled for playing time in the Bundesliga, with playing time of Germany’s top-ranked attacking midfielder has been limited to 145 minutes. However, with Jurgen Klopp looking to give the youngster some much-needed game time, the Reds are willing to agree a new loan deal with the suitors in the new year. Jurgen Klopp will hand Cade Gordon his first goal in 23 months when Saint-Gillois United host Liverpool in the Europa League. The Reds boss has ruled out a loan move for the 19-year-old as the January transfer window opens. Gordon is back to his early season best, having been put on the bench twice, and has joined the Reds. In the last 16 of the Europa League, Klopp said the former Derby County youth player could compete.
