Liverpool are now stepping up plans to sign the £52m player after what happened against Arsenal.

And now, according to the Mirror, plans to sign Sporting Lisbon star Inacio are now being accelerated, with the Reds targeting the Portugal international. With a release clause of £52m, the defender would be an expensive but worthwhile signing for Liverpool and Inacio is highly regarded across Europe. Indeed, Liverpool knew in January that they needed to bring in a defender and Tsimkas’ injury now leaves the Reds with no choice but to dive into the market.
