Unexpected News: Nebraska’s New Signing, Explosive Guard from Rutgers Renounces Deal

Three wildly different options for Nebraska’s next commitment

Naturally instead of following my guided list, the Huskers picked up a different commitment first, but two of the names, Mario Buford and Carter Nelson, ultimately ended up at Nebraska.

Can I either go three-for-three this time? Or can I nail the next announced commitment on this list? I guess we’ll find out. Here’s three wildly different names in three different categories that could all potentially be Nebraska’s next commitment:

Local Flavor

Pierce Mooberry — Unlike last year’s call of Nelson, this one is actually fairly local as Mooberry is a Millard North recruit, who the Huskers like on the defensive side of the ball, where he can line up as a linebacker.

Currently the Mustang plays safety, but with his size and frame, it’s not hard to see where the Huskers could utilize his coverage skills on the second-level.

Nebraska isn’t alone recruiting Mooberry, The athlete had or has trips to AlabamaIowa State and Minnesota, but right now the Huskers have the only official visit and there’s no trips set after April 20. Looks good for a local.
