76ers forward Kelly Oubre was in a traffic accident while heading home after Philadelphia’s intense Game 2 loss to New York on Monday.
Oubre, driving a 2021 Lamborghini, ran a red light and hit a 2023 Hyundai Elantra, as reported by police and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Kelly Oubre Jr., born on December 9, 1995, is an American basketball player currently with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA.
He spent a year at the University of Kansas before joining the NBA, initially with the Atlanta Hawks and later traded to the Washington Wizards. Oubre has also played for the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, and Charlotte Hornets during his professional career.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but both vehicles were towed from the scene. The 76ers confirmed that Oubre emerged from the accident unharmed.
