Done Deal: FIU’s Alex Nobles joins Dolphins Today

FIU’s Alex Nobles invited to Miami Dolphins Rookie Minicamp

Former FIU linebacker Alex Nobles has been invited to attend the Miami Dolphins’ Rookie Minicamp, according to a source from G5 Football Daily. Nobles, who spent two years at the University of North Carolina before transferring to FIU, has accepted the invitation.

During his time at FIU, he had two successful seasons after entering the transfer portal, while at UNC, he played in just three games across two seasons.

During his tenure with the Panthers spanning two years, Nobles accumulated 74 tackles in total, comprising 50 solo tackles and 24 assisted tackles, along with 6.5 sacks and 16 tackles resulting in a loss of yardage.

His proficiency in reaching the quarterback is noteworthy, particularly in the absence of Bradley Chubb and Jaylen Phillips due to injuries. Additionally, the Dolphins acquired Chop Robinson from Penn State and Mohamed Kamara from Colorado State in the recent NFL Draft.

Nobles will need to earn a contract through hard work, but his impressive stature and fast pace make him stand out, providing the Dolphins defense with something they currently lack.
