Micah Baskerville, a rookie linebacker with the Bears, has signed a reserve/future deal through 2024.
Jameson Williams, a wide receiver with the Detroit Lions, finished the 2023 season strong after a turbulent two-year period. The quick wide receiver now confronts a “crucial” next season as he tries to build on last season’s performance and justify the Lions’ No. 12 overall pick, according to an insider.
According to Colton Pouncy of The Athletic, Williams will face pressure to establish himself and play a larger part in the Lions offense, which has undergone significant alterations this offseason. Lions Will Rely on Jameson Williams.
Pouncy stated that Williams is set as the Lions’ No. 2 receiver behind Amon-Ra St.Brown for the 2017 season, placing pressure on him to succeed. “This is a crucial year for Williams,” Pouncy stated.
“It’s his third season, and he’s finally recovered from the torn ACL and gambling punishment that hampered him during the first two years. With Josh Reynolds departing for Denver, Williams must be ready.

According to Lions head coach Dan Campbell, the former Alabama receiver has made significant progress in Phase Two, which includes routes, fundamentals, and individual work. Campbell stated, “We started this thing back in April, and you’ve got Phase One for a couple weeks.
