Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Impacting Positivity beyond the Wages

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders ‘can’t imagine life’ without each other after making ‘cherished’ friends

Netflix brings a brand new series to screens this June as viewers get to follow the journeys of the women who put their all into becoming cheerleaders.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders features familiar faces in the cheerleading game – Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell.

While many people watching America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are focusing on what they say are negatives exposed during the Netflix series, such as the cheerleaders’ wages, the sportswomen themselves are sharing how much their lives have been enhanced by the friends they made on the show.

America’s Sweethearts’ Kleine ‘cherishes friendships’

Taking to Instagram following her Netflix stardom, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ Kleine Powell shares some more “glimpses” into the team’s lives.

She shares a compilation video and writes: “Cheers to the learning moments, the FUN times, and most importantly, some of the most cherished friendships I’ve ever had.”

In response to Kleine’s heartfelt post, her teammate, Ashlinn, says: “And now I couldn’t imagine life without you!”

More of the 36 official DCC stars posts in the comments to say: “Love dancing next to you,” “Couldn’t imagine my DCC journey without you!!” and “The Christmas circle was your best idea ever.”

Fans felt for Kleine

While Kleine reflects on her time filming America’s Sweethearts in a positive light, many Netflix fans took to X (Twitter) to question how the star was treated during the show.

One wrote: “Kelli really didn’t need to single. kleine about her ornament, literally contradicting what she said.”

Another tweeted: “I didn’t notice Kleine this whole show and the one time they spotlight her, she’s being seen as the sh***y person while their bus driver is in critical condition. Why… didn’t they cut this out? They know the internet is ruthless.”

During the show’s trailer, the stars say: “When one person hurts, we all hurt,” but it seems fans are convinced Kleine was “singled out.”

Another said: “I’m still on the fact that Kelly called Kleine out for simply asking where’s her ornament and not the ten girls that didn’t write the letter to their bus driver in the hospital.”
