Kolinisau delivers a heartfelt apology for Fiji’s crushing Olympic loss and pledges a triumphant return with an unstoppable force in the next cycle!

 

 

National Men’s 7s coach Osea Kolinisau has apologised that they were not able to defend the Fiji Team legacy and get gold and has promised that when the next Olympic cycle comes around, whether it be the same set of players, Jerry Tuwai or himself, Fiji will come hunting again.

 

 

Kolinisau stated this at the post match press conference in France this morning after the team went down 28-7 to hosts France.

The coach says the people back home do not care whether it is a young side, they always expect Fiji to win.

Kolinisau says they have worked really hard these last couple of weeks.

 

 

He says it is tough coaching a team that has a legacy like Fiji.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana play Canada at 3.30am tomorrow, they will meet China at 7am tomorrow then play New Zealand at 2.30am on Tuesday.

 

 

The women’s quarter finals kick off at 7am on Tuesday, while the semi finals start at 1.30am on Wednesday.

The women’s final is at 5.45am Wednesday.
