In Brief: Spurs Fans excitedly Welcomes Its newest Signing

UNC Basketball: Harrison Ingram signs Two-Way deal with San Antonio

Ingram will begin his professional career with the Austin Spurs in the G-League. He was drafted with the 48th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, and played with San Antonio’s Summer League teams in Sacramento and Las Vegas for a combined seven appearances.

Ingram averaged 10 ppg and 6.6 rpg in 27.8 mpg of action. Just like at Carolina, Ingram made plays all over the court, often doing the little things that made the team move:

If he isn’t called up to San Antonio this season, Ingram may have to field a phone call from USINDOPACOM Commander, Admiral Samuel Paparo.

As the US government and military conduct strategic competition with China, Harrison Ingram has already demonstrated dominance over the Chinese. In San Antonio’s game against the Chinese national team in the California Classic in Sacramento, Ingram gave Team China that work, recording his first professional double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) in an 89-67 win.

Ingram’s Two-Way contract is San Antonio’s third and final one to give. He’ll join fellow Spurs Jamaree Bouyea (San Francisco University) and David Duke Jr (Providence) in Austin. As previously mentioned, San Antonio is firmly in rebuilding mode, with the franchise firmly centered around Victor Wembanyama.

If the Spurs don’t show signs of being a playoff contender, Harrison Ingram could swoop in and take a roster spot should the Spurs look to shed veteran contracts. He’ll be one to watch this season on Tubi.
