” THE BITTER TRUTH “: Drivers for Red Bull, according to Sergio Perez, are treated “worse” than other drivers.

Drivers for Red Bull, according to Sergio Perez, are treated “worse” than other drivers.

Thomas Maher provided further reporting. Despite having a two-year contract that relieved some of his pressure, Perez entered the summer break having missed the podium in nine consecutive races, rather than rising to the occasion. Red Bull’s manager, Christian Horner, said the team “cannot run on one leg” after Red Bull finished seventh in the Drivers’ Championship and McLaren reduced the gap in the Constructors’. To many people’s astonishment, the team manager revealed a week later at the Milton Keynes headquarters that Perez will continue to drive for Red Bull “after the summer break.”

That put an end to rumors, at least for the time being, about who will drive when Formula One resumes action with the Dutch Grand Prix. It did not, however, address the issue of who will be in the vehicle in 2025.

Perez thinks that Red Bull drivers are subjected to “worse” scrutiny than drivers on other racing teams.

He said to the media, including PlanetF1.com, “I think when you look at it there have been other drivers who have had a similar period of bad races, but it’s not so noticeable.” “I believe that Red Bull is constantly under media scrutiny and a lot of debate, and it’s absolutely worse for the Red Bull drivers. But I grew up this way, too, even before I started my work. When I was younger, I never knew if I would advance to the next race if I didn’t win the current one.

“I believe that I was already under a lot of strain throughout my career, so I don’t see why Formula One is any different. Drivers in Formula One, we are accustomed to this level of pressure. Perez claims he should be evaluated based on his position in the standings come Abu Dhabi, not on the summer break, since he may need to win ten more races to guarantee his Red Bull future. He remarked, “You know you are in the spotlight of the sport, so it’s not easy, it’s obviously tough.” More so than the feelings themselves, though, is the difficulty in letting go of them and continuing to see them as potential.

“The best thing about this sport is that there are always opportunities. You haven’t improved since your last race. My top goal is to get my season back on track, so I’m working incredibly hard at that.

“Like I previously stated, we will only recall my finish in Abu Dhabi, so in my opinion, my season can look very different from how it is now if I can have a strong few races ahead of me and get my championship back on track.” “I don’t need someone to tell me if it’s a good race or a bad race,” he continued. I have enough experience to be aware of the kind of performance I deliver. And as I’ve already mentioned, getting the season back on track is my primary goal.
