CONFIRMED: Fijian Drua formally announced the signing of a $39.7 million Racing 92 star who once left Fiji Rugby stunned.

Centre for Fiji The most recent departure from Racing 92 was Inia Tabuavou.

Inia Tabuavou, a centre for Racing 92 and Flying Fijians, signed a two-year contract with Fijian Drua this week for the 2025 and 2026 season.

In 2020, Tabuavou, a graduate of Natabua High School, became a member of Racing 92. Earlier in the season, he was called up to the Flying Fijians because to his strong midfield defence and attack play. When playing against Georgia and the All Blacks, he began at inside centre. He is anticipated to make his debut in the 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season after signing with the Fijian Drua. When the 2024 Flying Fijians Test schedule is over, he will join the Fijian Drua pre-season.

Talking about the relocation After competing in France’s Top 14 league for two years, Tabuavou expressed his excitement about going home to play in a new competition. Inia Tabuavou remarked, “It feels good to be home, especially with the Drua family.” “I’m really excited to try out the new environment, especially the rugby they play and the culture of the team.” In his 21 games with Racing 92, Tabuavou scored three tries. He also played in two games with Flying Fijians.
