Japan Aims for Triumph: High-Stakes Pacific Nations Cup Final Against Fiji!

The Japanese rugby team has set its sights on capturing the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) title, gearing up for a thrilling showdown with the Fiji Water Flying Fijians in this Saturday’s final. Japan last claimed the PNC title in 2019, and the team is determined to repeat that success, especially on home soil in front of their passionate supporters.

Japan’s head coach, Eddie Jones, expressed satisfaction with their recent 49-27 victory over Samoa in the semi-finals but emphasized that their mission remains unfinished. Jones is clear that Japan’s sole objective is to win the title, acknowledging the challenge that awaits them in the form of a strong and skilled Flying Fijians squad.

With a full week of preparation ahead, Japan is focused on refining their game plan to meet the Fijians’ formidable attack and athleticism head-on.

On the other side, the Flying Fijians, who have shown their prowess throughout the tournament, held a brief training session before relocating to Osaka, where they will be based for the final week of preparations.

Both teams are set for an intense clash at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka, with the match kicking off at 10:05 PM. Fans from both nations are eager to witness which side will lift the PNC trophy this year.
