Compared to the rest of the NFL, Prescott’s protection this year has been mediocre; in five games, he has given up 12 sacks. It will be significant whether or not LT Tyler Guyton plays well this week and returns to his post. On Sunday, though, Prescott ought to have plenty of opportunity to complete passes in the passing game if Dallas can maintain adequate pressure on their quarterback.
This season, Cowboys DBs Lions quarterback Jared Goff has thrown four interceptions in as many games. Dallas should get back Caelen Carson for this game and still has Trevon Diggs and Jourdan Lewis. In the past three games, S Malik Hooker has dropped two interceptions; earlier in the season, Carson had a few near ones as well. Goff gives the Cowboys a good chance to give up a defensive lapse in a game where they most likely need a significant one to win.
BUY TE Ferguson, Jake Detroit’s defence has shut down tight ends so far this season. Week 1 saw Colby Parkinson of the Rams have the best performance with four catches for 47 yards. The same combination that has prevented opposing TEs from getting off the field all season will be in action, with Lions safety Kerby Joseph anticipated to play following a hamstring injury. As previously stated, if Prescott can work magic with Lamb and other wide outs, the club might not suffer from Ferguson having a slow week. We’ll see if Detroit has the same success against Ferguson, who is a more productive TE than the ones they have faced this season.
