Mike Tomlin, the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, is a legend and currently holds the longest tenure of any head coach in the league. Since taking over as coach in 2007, the future Hall of Famer has managed to guide the Pittsburgh Steelers to.500 or above each year. However, it appears that he may be experiencing issues in the locker room after providing Russell Wilson reps with the starting lineup on Tuesday, which might lead to Justin Fields’ termination. Deshon Elliott, the safety expert, really equated him to Osama bin Laden, the late commander of Al-Qaeda and one of the worst individuals of the past century.

Russell Wilson injured his calf early in training camp, so Justin Fields has started the first six games and led the Steelers to a 4-2 record. Fields hasn’t done much to stand out, but he has handled the ball well and made several plays with his legs. Above all, the team seemed to have somewhat united behind him. Wilson is expected to start the team’s next game against the Jets and will receive first-team repetitions this week, according to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero on Tuesday. Despite Tomlin’s lack of commitment following practice, it appears that this is the general pattern. Deshon Elliott, a seasoned safety, does not seem to like the change. Look it over.

That must have to do with Mike Tomlin’s purported decision to bench Fields in favour of Wilson? Wilson was undoubtedly brought in to be the starting quarterback, but the organisation did bring in both quarterbacks in the summer. However, it’s difficult to replace a player like Justin Fields who is winning games and playing great football. Is it related to their next two-week games against the New York Jets and New York Giants? Perhaps, but in some ways, that would be much more inconsiderate than the post itself! It’s unclear if the Russell Wilson-Justin Fields situation has other players in the locker room fuming.

Sincerely, keeping a locker room should be Mike Tomlin’s top priority. The Steelers lack the talent to get past a dysfunctional squad.
