BREAKING: Aaron Rodgers Promises to Fulfill Steelers Rookie’s Wish following Standout Performance

Aaron Rodgers says he will make Steelers rookie’s wish come true after huge game

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Jets

After a two-interception day on Sunday Night Football against the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers rookie cornerback Beanie Bishop did not have much else he wanted. He smiled during the postgame interview and locker room and received a game ball from head coach Mike Tomlin.

However, Bishop forgot a silver sharpie after he collected both interceptions he nabbed off future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. After the game, Bishop lamented that he could not get Rodgers to sign the balls, which were his first two career interceptions.

“We didn’t have a silver Sharpie for me to be able to ask A-Rod to sign it,” Bishop said. “But I don’t know where he went after the game. It was just so hectic.”

Bishop said he knew some players on the Jets who could try to make his wish come true. On Tuesday, during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers said that all that is unnecessary. Rodgers stated that all Bishop needed to send the balls his way, and he would sign them for him.

“Yeah, I can do that. No questions asked,” Rodgers said.

It is a classy move from Rodgers to make a core memory for an undrafted free agent who had to fight to make the Steelers’ roster and is now starting with the team.
