With almost 295 passing yards allowed per game, the Baltimore Ravens have the worst passing defence in the NFL. Tre’Davious White was acquired by the Ravens from the Los Angeles Rams around the trade deadline in an attempt to strengthen the secondary. White is ready to go against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, despite missing Week 10’s shootout victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Slowing down the Steelers’ offence, which is led by Russell Wilson, is the veteran cornerback’s first assignment with the Ravens. According to a press conference transcript made available by the team’s official website, White stated, “I haven’t had the opportunity to watch the Steelers very much when they were with Justin Fields, so I don’t know what the difference [is] between he and Russell Wilson in the offence, but what I do know is the Steelers are a hard-nosed group that’s always been historic; [there is] history with them.”

“When I was with Buffalo, I got the chance to play [against] them a few times, so I already knew what the Steelers were all about: playing tough defence, running the ball, and then making big plays on the outside. Therefore, you will have a chance against any squad if you restrict explosives and big-time plays. White continued

Fields was under centre as Pittsburgh got out to a 4-2 start. But Wilson was selected as the Steelers’ starting quarterback after he recovered from a calf ailment. Wilson, a seasoned quarterback, has revitalised the offence and helped the squad win their first three starts of the season. Wilson found Mike Williams, a recently acquired wide receiver, for the game-winning touchdown against the Washington Commanders in Week 10. During the game, it was his third passing score.

In Week 11, the Ravens will play the Steelers and Russell Wilson.

When the Ravens visit town in Week 11, the Steelers will confront an even greater obstacle. In Week 10, Baltimore defeated the Bengals in an incredible offensive slugfest. In the crucial fourth quarter, Lamar Jackson led a 21-point comeback to overcome Cincinnati 35-34.

The Ravens have won seven of their last eight games to overcome a 0–2 start, despite their defensive shortcomings. They are only one half game behind the Steelers for the top spot in the AFC North with a 7-3 record. John Harbaugh, the head coach of the Ravens, is eager for White to play outside corner in his first game with the team. In a deal with the Carolina Panthers, Baltimore also acquired veteran wide receiver Diontae Johnson. Despite playing in the Ravens’ last two games, Johnson is anticipated to play a larger role in Week 11.
