Yacine Adli has spoken out about leaving AC Milan and choosing to sign with Fiorentina, implying that Stefano Pioli never truly desired him in the first place.
After being signed, Adli was first loaned back to Bordeaux before returning to Italy and playing hardly a minute in his debut season at Milan. His time there was, to put it mildly, an eventful one.
He had a couple more chances last season, but it seemed like he was never really considered for Pioli’s plans. Perceptions were also not much altered by the head coach change.
Rather, it was decided that Adli had no place in the team since the Portuguese head coach believed that leaving would benefit everyone, and thus far, it can be said that this was the right choice.
Numerous sources currently assert that Fiorentina is already considering turning Adli’s loan into a long-term agreement, and the French midfielder has spoken with RMC Sport on his future.
