Chicago Bulls Coach Calls Out Players After Blowout Loss vs. Rockets
The Chicago Bulls hosted the Houston Rockets in the United Center on Sunday after a two-game trip series, but it was not a very pleasant homecoming.
With a minute and a half remaining in the first quarter, the Bulls led Houston 26–24, but that was the only time they led the game. Following the first half, the Rockets dominated the game, outscoring the Bulls 116-81 in the latter three quarters.
Billy Donovan, the head coach of the Bulls, was visibly agitated with the lopsided defeat and criticized his team for failing to step up when it counted.
