The defending champion Celtics and the unbeaten Cavaliers square off at TD Garden at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in what should be one of the more eagerly awaited games in mid-November. According to the injury report, the C’s will be nearly fully recovered.
Due to a sprained left thumb, Payton Pritchard is classified as doubtful. Kristaps Porzingis is still out recovering from surgery, but the club gave a positive report on Monday.
With the second-best net rating in the NBA, only surpassed by the Thunder, Cleveland has destroyed opponents this season. In terms of net rating, the C’s are now ranked fourth.
Cleveland’s injury report includes a number of role players. Both Dean Wade (left ankle sprain) and Max Strus (right ankle sprain) are listed as out. Sam Merrill (left ankle), Isaac Okoro (left ankle), and Caris LeVert (left knee) are all classified as questionable.
