The Detroit Lions are still dominating teams every week, and since they might soon have a key player back, things could grow worse for the opposition. Head coach Dan Campell offered some positive news regarding tight end Sam LaPorta’s availability against the Indianapolis Colts, despite the fact that he missed their most recent game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a shoulder injury.

It’s doubtful that LaPorta is above. Through Lions reporter Dave Birkett, Campbell stated, “It’s trending in the right direction.”

LaPorta suffered a hamstring injury in the preseason in addition to an ankle issue earlier this season. LaPorta has occasionally served as Jared Goff’s safety net, so it would be huge for him to return to the Lions’ pitch. LaPorta simply enhances the Lions’ dominance, which has been evident throughout the season. Fortunately, they have a number of backups who could step in if he were to lose any more time, including Jameson Williams, David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Sam LaPorta might return to the Lions in Week 12.

The Lions are dominating teams left and right, therefore it’s easy to conclude they’re the league’s best team. Though not as much as he did during his rookie campaign the previous year, Sam LaPorta has been able to contribute occasionally this season. Jared Goff has spread the ball to all of the playmakers and hasn’t given priority to a single receiver because the club has so many alternatives.

On offence, the Lions have been able to defeat opponents in a variety of ways. The running combination of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, who have been among the best one-two punches this season, might be the key to their success in one game. Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams make it difficult for opposition defences to guard, therefore in another game, their passing style might win them the game.

The Lions are now the clear favourites to win the Super Bowl, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see them there after the Kansas City Chiefs finally lost in Week 11. After losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship the previous season, they came very close, but this year they appear to be back on track. The Lions will be difficult for any team to defeat if they can enter the postseason in good health, but first they must concentrate on completing the season before they reach that stage.
