Watching the NFL on Thanksgiving Day is one of the greatest football traditions. Nothing beats dozing off in the middle of the day while watching an NFL game in the background after your fifth plate of Thanksgiving fare. Three Thanksgiving Day games and one Black Friday game are on this year’s holiday schedule.

The Chicago Bears play the Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at Ford Field in Detroit. Given that the Lions are 9-1 and the first-ever Super Bowl favourites, it will undoubtedly be entertaining to witness this NFC North divisional rivalry. The Bears, who are 4-6, will play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday to end a four-game losing run before travelling to Detroit the following week.

Following that game, fans will be treated to another NFC rivalry when the Dallas Cowboys, who are the holiday’s traditional hosts, welcome the New York Giants to AT&T Stadium. This is typically a popular game to watch. Not this season, though, as both the Giants and the Cowboys are now without their starting quarterbacks. Daniel Jones has been benched, and Dak Prescott is out due to an injury. Both clubs are on five-game losing streaks going into Sunday’s contest, which comes before their Thanksgiving matchup. Tickets are inexpensive as a result. Really, really cheap.

The Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers play their final Thanksgiving game at Lambeau Field at night. At 3 p.m. ET on Black Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning Super Bowl champions, take on the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. Which game excites you the most?
