Commisso is prepared to invest in three areas as Fiorentina’s January transfer priority.
Fiorentina’s strong start to the season has brought back memories of their 2016 campaign, but Rocco Commisso, the club’s owner, is desperate to avoid making the same mistakes twice. According to Calciomercato, Commisso has stated that he is willing to make investments during the January transfer window in order to maintain the team’s momentum, even though they are now leading the league.
Even with the team’s current strength at every position—a strong defense, a fantastic goalie, and a well-balanced midfield—the need for reinforcement is obvious: Moise Kean needs a quality backup striker. Since Christian Kouamé has had trouble performing in this capacity, the team is looking for a replacement forward who can take Kean’s place when he is unable to.
Although the main goal is to bolster their striker, Fiorentina will also receive defender Valentini from Boca Juniors in January. Although boosting the midfield is a possibility if the proper opportunity presents itself, the club is not in a rush to make needless additions.
