BREAKING: Former Snooker World Champion Urges Judd Trump to Lift the Curse he allegedly Cast on Him

NEIL ROBERTSON PLEADS FOR JUDD TRUMP TO ‘REMOVE CURSE’ AFTER ‘UNLUCKY’ UK CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER – ‘ENOUGH IS ENOUGH’

Neil Robertson has pleaded for Judd Trump to “remove the curse” that he has put on the Australian. Robertson’s comments come a week after he beat Trump at the Champion of Champions, with the Englishman having then complained about his lack of luck. Since then, Robertson believes he has endured bad luck of his own in the UK Championship, despite a narrow victory over Oliver Lines on Tuesday.

Neil Robertson has pleaded for Judd Trump to “remove the curse” that he has put on the Australian.
Robertson is set to take on Matthew Stevens on Thursday in the final round of UK Championship qualifying, having claimed a narrow victory over Oliver Lines on Tuesday evening.
Lines at one point had a 5-4 lead, only for Robertson to ultimately scrap his way over the line.
Despite the win, Robertson bemoaned that he had been unlucky throughout the encounter, and jocularly accused Trump of putting a curse on him.
Robertson’s comments come a week after he beat Trump at the Champion of Champions, with the Englishman having then complained about his lack of luck.
Robertson said in an Instagram video after beating Lines: “So Judd, after our match when you called me so lucky, I have had anything but luck!
“Could you please remove the curse that you have put upon me? Was it the thin red, two cushions in behind the yellow, touching ball that sent you over the edge?
“So yes mate, can you please remove the curse, because playing the game like this isn’t much fun.
“I do like a challenge, but enough is enough, you’ve had your fun so please remove the curse and allow me to play the game with equal luck as everyone. Thank you mate.”
Robertson also told World Snooker Tour of his win over Lines: “I was dead and buried at 5-4. I played great apart from the seventh frame, then Oliver took control and he had chances to win.
“I made a really good break in the last frame to get back into it. I know there’s a lot on the line, my Masters spot is at stake, so every game in this event is a double whammy, despite the fact that I have had a great season.
“My game is there, in a way it was good to have to dig deep tonight in a match where things were not going my way.”
