Despite missing Sunday night’s 34-10 Cowboys loss to the Texans, injured Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott had an emotional response to his team’s crushing defeat.
After having season-ending surgery on his hamstring, Prescott will miss the remainder of the season and last played on November 3. He was clearly devastated by the team’s most recent loss, as evidenced by his tears as his team dropped to 3-7 on the season, according to the Dallas Morning News.
“I guess it just hit me the other day after the game,” Prescott said to Dallas Morning News. “Oh, yeah.” A few drops of tears fell. This is going to be painful. Sometimes it’s going to be awful. You simply need to recognise that this is one of those times. The only thing I want right now is to let things go bad. Dak Prescott disclosed that following the Cowboys’ defeat by the Texans, he started crying.

Prescott is currently out for the remainder of the season due to a partial hamstring rupture.
Prescott’s season ended after just eight games due to a partly torn hamstring, which keeps him out of action. Prior to his injury, he watched his team lose three straight games and threw eight interceptions in a row.
Off the pitch, I’ve experienced some of the happiest moments I’ve ever dreamed of. “Being engaged, having a child, and beginning a family,” he continued. On the football pitch, however, this season has likely been the most difficult I’ve ever experienced. Probably the hardest, in my opinion. Last season, Prescott amassed 4,516 yards and a league-high 36 touchdown throws. However, Dallas’ poor play has continued into this season when they were shocked by the Packers at home in the playoffs after finishing 12-5 in the regular season. This weekend, the Cowboys will visit the Commanders in an attempt to halt the bleeding.
