Giannis Dominates with 41, Ty Jerome Stars in Cavaliers’ Rout, Warriors Extend Home Streak
Giannis Antetokounmpo showcased his dominance once again, powering the Milwaukee Bucks to a 122-106 victory over the Chicago Bulls with an impressive 41-point performance. This marked the third time this season Antetokounmpo has scored 40 or more points, adding eight rebounds and nine assists to his stat line.
Supporting him were Brook Lopez and Damian Lillard, who chipped in with 21 and 20 points, respectively.
The game was closer than the scoreline suggests, as the Bulls, led by Zach LaVine’s 27 points, narrowed the gap to 104-102 with under eight minutes remaining. However, the Bucks surged ahead late, securing their fourth win in five games.
This resurgence comes after a rocky start to the season, where they managed just two wins in their first ten outings. The Bucks now sit ninth in the Eastern Conference, showing signs of momentum.
In Cleveland, the Cavaliers rebounded from their first loss of the season with a commanding 128-100 win over the New York Pelicans. Ty Jerome led the charge, posting a team-high 29 points, including six of seven from beyond the arc. Jerome shone in the second quarter, scoring 20 points and electrifying the crowd.
Head coach Kenny Atkinson praised Jerome’s performance, calling it a “superstar” display that uplifted the entire team.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors, leaders of the Western Conference, maintained their home dominance with a 120-97 win over the Atlanta Hawks. Andrew Wiggins led all scorers with 27 points, while Stephen Curry contributed 23, helping the Warriors extend their home winning streak to five games.
