This afternoon, the Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Umass Minutemen 59-21 to win their ninth game of the 2024 regular season.
The Dawgs were within one win of tying the SEC record for the most straight home victories after the game, which was their 30th consecutive victory at Sanford Stadium. Watch and listen to the Bulldogs’ victory over UMass at home.
Carson Beck, the quarterback, had four touchdown passes in the first half and left the game without an interception. Nate Frazier, a rookie running back who scored three touchdowns throughout the game, also played a significant role in the victory.
Friday night against in-state rival Georgia Tech, the Bulldogs will have the chance to win their record-breaking 30th straight home game inside Sanford Stadium.
Friday’s kickoff is set for 7:30 on ABC. The Bulldogs have opened as a near three-score favorite over the 7-3 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Head coach Kirby Smart and Tech head coach Brent Key both played at and graduated from their respective schools.
