Rookie Watch: Cardinals’ Darius Robinson Poised to Make NFL Debut, Completing 2024 First-Round Class

Darius Robinson, the Arizona Cardinals’ first-round draft pick, is finally set to make his NFL debut. After being sidelined with a calf injury since the start of the season, Robinson has been activated and is poised to take the field on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. The 23-year-old defensive end from Missouri was selected 27th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Robinson’s delayed start to his NFL career has been due to the calf injury he suffered in August, which landed him on injured reserve. Although he was activated off IR on October 28, the Cardinals have taken a cautious approach in bringing him back into the lineup.

As the 31st and final first-round rookie to make his debut this season, Robinson will look to make an immediate impact for the Cardinals. With his official start to his NFL career just around the corner, Robinson is ready to take the field and show what he can do.
