Iron Heads GC Set to Shake Up Line-Up with Three Exciting Additions for 2025

The LIV Golf off-season presents an opportunity for teams to adjust their rosters, and Iron Heads GC, led by Kevin Na, appears set for significant changes.

The team’s official X account hinted at three new signings with an image of Na alongside silhouettes of three players. The caption read: “Big moves loading. Iron Heads GC is gearing up for 2025 with three exciting signings. Who do you think is joining the squad? Stay tuned!” This has sparked speculation about potential additions and departures from the team.

In 2024, Na’s team included Danny Lee, Jinichiro Kozuma, and Scott Vincent. However, Vincent ended the season in the Drop Zone, putting his future in jeopardy unless he secures a contract through the LIV Golf Promotions event. Meanwhile, Lee and Kozuma finished in the Open Zone, meaning they could negotiate new deals with Iron Heads GC or join other teams.

It remains unclear if Lee and Kozuma will be re-signed, leaving Vincent as the only player to exit, or if the team plans more sweeping changes. What is certain is that Na’s squad underperformed for most of 2024, finishing last in the team standings after 13 events.

Despite this, Iron Heads GC made an impressive comeback in the Team Championship, defeating Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC and finishing tied for second, just three shots behind winners Ripper GC. This unexpected performance raises questions about how much of the team will remain intact for the 2025 season opener in Saudi Arabia on 6 February.

The off-season has already seen notable activity. Eugenio Chacarra has left Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC and is searching for a new team, while Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC signed Thomas Pieters from Range Goats GC.

This has created further roster uncertainty, with 4 Aces GC now overstaffed, while Range Goats GC has just two players after captain Bubba Watson landed in the Drop Zone. Watson, like others in the Drop Zone, including Vincent, Kieran Vincent, Branden Grace, and Kalle Samooja, must fight for his place through the Promotions event.

With at least one new player guaranteed to join via the Promotions event, roster shakeups are inevitable as teams finalize their lineups for 2025.
