The Detroit Lions are on a roll! After winning three games in just 12 days, they now have 11 straight victories and a 12-1 record. The Lions are in a good position to finish strong as they strive for a Super Bowl win. With only four regular-season games remaining, here’s how I anticipate the final stretch will play out for Detroit.

Week 15 vs. Buffalo Bills (10-2) – Lions win 31-27

The Lions will face a difficult test against the Bills, who are competing for postseason status. However, Detroit’s powerful offence, lead by Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown, will outperform Buffalo in a high-scoring thriller. The Lions’ defence will bend but not break, producing enough important stops to prevent the Bills from winning the game.

Week 16 at Chicago Bears (4-8) – Lions win 34-23

The Bears are floundering this season, and while a divisional battle always adds tension, the Lions are simply too talented. With David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs dominating the ground game and Goff maintaining his strong play, Detroit will win convincingly at Soldier Field. Chicago’s defence will be no match for the Lions’ explosive offence.

Week 17 at San Francisco 49ers (5-7) – Lions win 27-23

The 49ers have had some ups and downs this season, and while their defence may be formidable, the Lions will rise to the occasion. A hard-fought game in Santa Clara will come down to the wire, but the Lions’ offence will deliver in crunch time, and their defence will make just enough plays to stop San Francisco’s offence in the final minutes.

Week 18 vs. Minnesota Vikings (10-2) – Lions win 30-24

The Lions will compete for the top seed in the NFC. With their playoff berth already assured, Detroit will play with determination, leaving nothing to chance. The Vikings will fight, but the Lions’ offence will shine one final time in the regular season to ensure a solid finish.

The Bottom Line

I have the Lions at the top of the standings, having gone 16-1 during the regular season. This not only guarantees them the NFC North championship, but also the desired No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. With momentum on their side and confidence growing, the Lions are primed for a Super Bowl run!
