Detroit Lions star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown knows how to get fans talking. On the latest episode of the *St. Brown Podcast*, he was asked which NFL player he’d love to see join the Lions. His answer? None other than Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby—a pick that’s already got Detroit fans dreaming big.
“It would probably have to be Maxx Crosby,” St. Brown said. “Him, Z (Zach Paschal), the edge rushers we got, Aidan (Hutchinson)—that would be crazy. At that point, your DBs only need to cover for like three seconds, because one of them is getting to the quarterback.”
And St. Brown didn’t stop there, pointing out Crosby’s Michigan ties as a former Eastern Michigan Eagle. “It just feels right,” he added.
The thought of pairing Crosby with Aidan Hutchinson on the edges, plus the rest of Detroit’s stacked defensive line, is the stuff of nightmares for opposing quarterbacks. The Lions already boast one of the league’s top defenses, and adding Crosby to the mix would take their pass rush to a whole new level.
Fans on social media are loving the idea, and who can blame them? A Crosby-Hutchinson duo in Honolulu Blue would be pure chaos for offenses across the NFL. While it’s just a dream for now, it’s clear St. Brown and the Lions faithful are united in their hope that one day this vision becomes reality.
Can you imagine the carnage Crosby and Hutchinson would bring? Let’s just say Lions fans are ready to welcome him with open arms.
