The Minnesota Vikings are set to face the Chicago Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium on Monday Night, aiming to close the gap on the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions.
After falling to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the 11-2 Vikings have a chance to tie Detroit’s 12-2 record as they approach their highly anticipated season finale in Detroit on January 5th.
On Sunday, the Vikings’ social media team made history by announcing a groundbreaking uniform change inspired by winter’s chill, set to debut during Monday Night Football in Minneapolis.
“Designed to be the coldest in the league, the icy look features white-on-white jerseys and pants, paired with the first usage of a white helmet in franchise history,” the team shared on their website.
The uniforms will make their debut at U.S. Bank Stadium when the Vikings take on Caleb Williams, Thomas Brown, and the Bears under the primetime lights.
Fans eager for a glimpse can check out the preview shared on social media ahead of the 8 p.m.
ET kickoff, as the 4-9 Bears aim to upset Sam Darnold, Justin Jefferson, and the Vikings.
