The Green Bay Packers’ 30-13 victory over the Seahawks on Sunday night was accompanied by chants of “Go Pack Go” from both players and coaches. The Packers’ offence and defence were in complete control, as were the fans in attendance.
Following the game, head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters, “This is a tough place to play, it’s extremely loud, and I was shocked when our defence was on the field and I could hear our Packer fans. I definitely think that made a difference for us.”
Jordan Love, the quarterback, concurred. “(Hearing ‘Go Pack Go’ chants) was awesome,” said Love. “I don’t think anyone will ever forget it, do you know? The game certainly got off to a boisterous start, but it was still amazing to see all of the Packers fans there right away. It was a wonderful feeling to hear the ‘Go Pack Go’ cheers echoing around the stadium. However, you didn’t have to live in Seattle to feel this way.
