There will likely be more Detroit Lions players back in the lineup soon. Following the team’s 34-17 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday, Lions coach Dan Campbell provided additional injury updates, the majority of which were quite encouraging. This is the most recent.

When Graham Glasgow returns, he will begin Campbell stated that he anticipates the veteran offensive lineman to make a comeback this week after Lions left guard Graham Glasgow missed last week due to a knee ailment.

“Yes, I see Graham returning,” Campbell remarked. “I believe he will be prepared to roll.” Against the Bears, the Lions started youngster Christian Mahogany in Glasgow’s place for the first time in his career. Campbell thought the starting debut of the sixth-round pick was encouraging.

“That gave me hope,” Campbell remarked. He did attempt to play violent, in my opinion. For him, it was not too large. I believed that Frank (Ragnow) and Taylor Decker, who were positioned between the two, assisted him. And I thought, “Dude, this is his first time out. He was just another guy, and he didn’t have any preseason experience as a rookie, but he’s just kept getting better.”

Glasgow still has the job, though, and he is anticipated to start against the 49ers. Campbell stated, “He’s going to start for us and slip right back at left guard and be fantastic.” This week, Jalen Reeves-Maybin might make a comeback. Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin began his 21-day assessment window while on injured reserve last week when he resumed practice. Campbell mentioned that Reeves-Maybin might play this week, but he wouldn’t make any firm commitments.

We’ll check in with Germ (Reeves-Maybin). Jalen Reeves-Maybin is someone who could be a candidate (to return), Campbell stated. We started him last week, gave him a few practices, and will give him more this week to gauge his progress and gauge how he feels. He is a person who might be mentioned.
